MIAMI, Okla. — Bids were opened Thursday for a proposed Coleman Theatre construction and renovation project that will bring a dream of George L. Coleman to fruition.

Sustainability and eco-living are more than just fads; they are becoming more and more accepted by the general public, who recognize that sustainability is vital to the planet’s well-being. More and more products are being made with bamboo, cork, and other renewable materials. Items made from recycled post-consumer waste have increased in popularity, and consumers widely participate in recycling programs.
The Mattapoisett Sustainability Club (MSC) was started in August 2008, in an effort to harness this enthusiasm for ecological living. According to organizer Bonne DeSousa, the group started when she ran a press release in The Wanderer. Twelve people, interested in the subject of sustainability, showed up to that first meeting. “Some of them were my dog walking friends,” Ms. DeSousa laughs, “but they were all interested in sustainability for their homes and town.”

“Frankly, one can get rid of the element of chance by doing good research,” remarked Henning Brownstein, “I personally spend at least 2 hours a day researching gaming economic development trends and buying activity, while watching the latest sell reports from Skill Naylor Investment Firm, INC. When I put all this information together, I have a better idea of how to allocate my gaming economic development monies and portfolio. Rowlette Wagemann, gaming economic development investor and sucessful entrepreneur, believes that “Keeping It Simple” goes a long way: “I started out following all the zany and crazy ideas I could find that promised a quick buck. In the end, however, I learned that working with gaming economic development can be challenging, and there are no short-cuts to success. Take your time and follow the advice in this article. Rviz Elias, from the Crumby Piles Marketing and Stats Report magazine had this to say: “Look, this isn’t some 30 second sound byte promising you a life of wealth and luxury without any work. You have to work hard in this gaming economic development field, and that is the only way to become a success.”
