for local communities.”

The Western Arizona Economic Development District (WAEDD), Inc., is a voluntary creation of local governments within the three counties on the western border of the State of Arizona: La Paz, Mohave, and Yuma. The boundaries of the District are the boundaries of the geographic area comprising La Paz, Mohave, and Yuma County in Arizona. WAEDD is a not-for-profit corporation, incorporated without members, in the State of Arizona. Governmental entities which are eligible for participation in the District and direct representation on the WAEDD Governing Board are those incorporated Counties, Cities, and Towns, and federally recognized Tribes which are located wholly or partly within the District boundaries. Participating governments pay annual dues to WAEDD, which support the operating expenses of the organization.
